Israel started wrestling with the Tomcat wrestling club in Aurora, Illinois at the age of 9. At the age of 10 Israel won his first IKWF state title at 62lbs then at 66, 74, 79, and 95. Israel was undefeated all 5 of those years with the exception of a disqualification due to a slam. He then started high school at West Aurora, Israel was a three time state champ wrestling at 112, 130, and 145. He finished high school with a record of 118-1 losing only one match due to an illegal slam. Israel then went to North Idaho College where he was 40-0 and won a Junior College National title at 157lbs. He then was attempting to wrestle for the University of Iowa, wrestling in 2 open tournaments compiling a record of 6-0.
Israel wrestled numerous freestyle tournaments including cadet and junior nationals, cadet world championships and the espior world team trials. Israel now has been coaching at Montini Catholic High School, along with the Bronco wrestling club (IKWF) during the folk-style season. During the "off-season" He is the Head Coach of Izzy Style School Of Wrestling.
